The Land Rover Africa Cup promises to be a fiercely competitive tournament with 10 teams featuring world-class players at the top of their game.
On the 16th August, beauty, power and prestige will meld together when the representative teams from South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Zimbabwe and defending champions Ghana, will compete for the much-coveted Land Rover Africa Cup trophy!

The Final of The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club was a fight to the finish between UAE Polo and King Power Foxes with end to end galloping polo. UAE started well, winning a penalty in the first 30 seconds, which Macdonough converted with ease to open the scores.

Archaeologists have excavated three leather balls and eight long-handled polo sticks from the Yanghai Tombs in Turpan, China, dated to between 2,400 and 2,800 years old. If they are as old as 2,800 years, they predate the previous estimated date for the invention of polo.
EFG Aravali took a narrow 5-4 win over Emlor to win the Indian Empire Shield at Guards Polo Club.
The winners dominated the match and the scoreboard. Emlor made an impressive comeback in the last chukkas in an attempt to tie the game, but they were unable to defeat EFG in the end.
