In the final round of preliminary matches at the Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club today, Harvard Polo Club defeated Yale University Polo Club by 8 goals to 6, while University of London Polo Club dispatched Stanford Polo Club by 10 goals to 4.5. London and Harvard will join Cambridge and Oxford to contest the semi-finals of the Metropolitan Intervarsity Polo 2015 – The London Challenge on Saturday; Stanford and Yale will fight it out for fifth place.

Dolfina Divina – Best Playing Pony Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup Final 2015

It must have been a truly difficult task to be in charge of picking the ‘Best Playing Pony’ of this year’s Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup Final, but from amongst the eighty-three stunning ponies in the pony lines and on the pitch (UAE – forty one ponies and King Power Foxes – forty two), it was Pablo MacDonough’s – ‘Dolfina Divina’ which the judges decided deserve the title and was awarded with the Twisted Automotive Best Playing Pony rug.

“Classic Car Day” was the theme at the Oak Brook polo grounds this last Sunday 19th July, 2015. The 1:00pm first match was led by an impressive 17 classic car parade. The Oak Brook Polo Club team was captained by Jim Drury playing at back, and John Greene playing in the number 1 scoring position.
