Barbados whip Cheshire in polo

At one point, the match was actually very closely contested, with Howard Taylor’s spectacular backhand shot from an acute angle bringing Cheshire within one goal at 4-3, at the beginning of the third chukka. But it was all one-way traffic from there as Crispin, who was having a fantastic match up to that point, turned up the pressure. After picking up the ball on the right side of the field, he coolly slotted the ball between the goalpost to make it 5-3. Seconds later, he stole the ball from Taylor, and galloped down the field before guiding the ball into the goal. He then put the match out of Cheshire’s reach, when he tapped in from close range after receiving a pinpoint pass from teammate Stuart Gill to make it 7-3. Marc Atwell got into the act in the final chukka with two late strikes, the first of which was beautifully set up by a pass from Crispin. Earlier, Crispin left mouths wide open after opening the scoring with an unbelievable shot. Picking up the ball
