Rugby Polo Club host SUPA Senior Schools this weekend
Defending champions Cheltenham College are just one of many teams who will be taking part in the SUPA Senior Schools Championships this Sunday at Rugby Polo Club.
For the past three years, Team USPA has sent players to Argentina to be mentored by 7 goal professional Gaston Lauhlé. 24 year old Todd Thurston and 21 year old Russell Stimmel were selected this year for this opportunity. For the third time in the history of polo in the desert, there will be a high-goal arena polo game at Empire Polo Club. The United States Polo Association (USPA) has awarded the 23-Goal USPA Townsend International Challenge Cup to Empire Polo Club. The game will be played on Saturday, March 14th, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the polo arena at Empire Polo Club.

The prestigious Polo Awards will be held on Tuesday 19 May, the first day of The Queen's Cup, at Guards Polo Club.
Last year Orchard Hill lost the final of the CV Whitney Cup to Valiente; this year, Steve van Andel's foursome had another shot at winning the trophy. Orchard Hill defeated Alegria 16 goals to 13 to win the first tournament of the American Triple Crown. The final was played at Palm Beach International Polo Club on Sunday afternoon.
