The 2016 season at Polo Club Saint-Tropez was launched on Sunday, 15 May 2016, when the Polo Club hosted the first games of the season with four international 6-10 goal teams fighting for the Coupe de L’Hippocampe 2016, accompanied by bright sunshine.
The first Rovinj Beach Polo Cup, a unique sports and tourist event in Croatia and the region, was completed with the final game between team Adris and team Heineken.

Martha Laffaye passed away on April 24, 2016, after a painful struggle with metastatic lung cancer. Martha was a breast cancer survivor and had recovered from a disabling brain stroke.
