Once again players from all over the world gathered for the Ladies International at the idyllic Polo Escape resort, in Thailand. With competitive 3-4 goal teams taking part with two professionals per team, including one man, the polo was fast and exciting for both the players and spectators.
After thirty years of absence, polo has returned in Hong Kong through the Longines Masters, and thanks to their official new partner, the luxury brand Shanghai Tang. A tournament that has not broken its promise of great sport, to the delight of the public, and the players!
On February 21st, 2016, teams from Russia and Switzerland met for the first time to play at the Tseleevo Winter Open snow polo championship in the Moscow Polo Club.
The semifinals lived up to the expectations of all prognostics: Cinque Terre, the reincarnation of Test Drive put on and incredible display against Agualinda, in a riveting semi-final at Casa de Campo.
Tonkawa (Jeff Hildebrand, Gonzalo Deltour, Sebastian Merlos and Mason Wroe) and Enigma (Jerome Wirth, Jeff Hall, Matias MacDonough and Carlucho Arellano) battled neck-and-neck through six chukkers before a strong fifth chukker by Tonkawa lifted them to a one goal lead that held up for the final chukker to win their third Iglehart Cup.
