The First Games Of The Tortugas Open Get Underway in Argentina
Tuesday 29 September saw the first two teams of The Tortugas Open take to the fields of Tortugas Country Club for their opening match. The tournament is the first in the illustrious Triple Crown series.
Five horses travelling to The Jockey Club de San Isidro before the Club's famous Open tournament were found to be suffering from Equine Infectious Anaemia, also known as swamp fever.

Alegria (Magoo Laprida, Hilario Ulloa, Lucas Monteverde and Fred Mannix) bounced back from their loss to Ellerstina in the Jockey Club final by racing past Chapaleufú (Pepe Heguy, Nachi Heguy, Bautista Heguy and Eduardo Heguy)15-11 in the opening match of the 2015 Tortugas Open at the Tortugas Country Club in Argentina.
