Polo is a sport that is constantly broadening its horizons, growing and expanding to reach the furthest corners of the earth. Deciding to host an exciting season of polo in the Dominican Republic has been by far one of the biggest announcements of 2015. The country's debut as part of the international polo calendar will kick off in January.
On the past weekend, the second edition of the Cultura Mezcal Polo Cup and Mexican Art Festival once again gathered polo players from Mexico, the USA, Argentina, Great Britain, Switzerland and Spain at the Ibiza Polo Club. The event combined various art disciplines with the fast-paced sport of polo.
Following their highly successful 2015 high-goal season in England, playing together with King Power Foxes and winning both the Queen’s Cup at Guards Polo Club and the Gold Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club, brothers and Piaget Ambassadors, Gonzalito and Facundo Pieres, enjoyed a few weeks of downtime before heading to the St. Tropez Polo Club to play in the 18-goal Cote d’Azur tournament.
From 11-16 September 2015, Mexico will be guest at Ibiza Polo Club! Cultura Mezcal, La Mezcaleria Mexiterránea and Cultura en Polo are proud to present the second edition of the Mexican Art Festival and Cultura Mezcal Polo Cup at the club, which is located in the heart of the Mediterranean island of Ibiza. This unique event combines various art disciplines with one of the most spectacular sports: Polo.
